Gary John happily works as a director, choreographer or both. He has significant experience in both musical theatre and non-musical work and works in the theatrical, corporate and educational arenas. His endeavors have taken him to four continents and all types of venues, from indoor to outdoor, including proscenium, thrust, and in the round. His training took place in numerous NYC studios and he earned a degree in theatre and dance from UCLA. He brings over 25 years of professional work experience to the table.

Gary John won not one – but two awards! His production of Fiddler on the Roof at Barrington Stage Company (starring Brad Oscar) was nominated in five categories and Gary John won both Best Direction – Large Theatre and Best Choreography – Large Theatre.
